Human rights activist Agather Atuhaire reported that soldiers and police killed at least 10 opposition supporters who had gathered at the house of parliamentarian Muwanga Kivumbi. The police, on the other hand, paint a different picture, accusing opposition 'goons' of attacking a police station.
The truth remains elusive, with conflicting accounts and an inability to reach key figures for comment.
