A 21-Year-Old Man Arrested After 'Knife-Wielding' Incident at Sydney's Westfield Mt Druitt Shopping Centre

According to reports, the man had been seen leaving a Willmot unit block carrying weapons as early as 1 pm. Approximately half an hour later, police attempted to stop a car and found it in the shopping centre's car park.
The 21-year-old man is now in custody at Mount Druitt Police Station. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of public safety and the swift response of law enforcement in such situations.
